Welcome to 2012 at Bookshrop, Whitchurch
A year packed full of celebrations - what a cheering prospect after 2011!
* We start off with the Charles Dickens Bicentenary, officially scheduled for February 7th 2012,
but we will be celebrating the works and life of Dickens throughout the
first half of 2012. We will be running an offer on all of Dickens'
paperbacks, so there's plenty of time to read those you've not read
before or re-read your favourites.
* Then we celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubileein June with bunting, a special children's competiton and lots of good books to commemorate this historic event.
* Next there's Independent Booksellers Week, which will run from 30th June until July 7th. We will be holding events this week so please support us if you can!
* In the summer it's The 2012 Olympics!! It's finally here...the books and the bunting will be here still, plus an Olympic-themed event.
